Fun With the Eddins Boys

Faren and Avery went on a cruise last week, so Taun and I shared taking care of the kids. She had them the first part of the week, and I had them the last. We had fun with 3 little boys around here. Simon is 14 months old and was drawn to my stairs. Not being able to handle them very well yet, it was a full time job just trying to keep him from killing himself. Roy took the bigger boys and tried to fish one day, but it was just too cold. Sure do love these little guys.

When the weather straightened up, we went to the playground to play.

Faren and Ave brought the boys cool super-hero capes. Boston is Superman, River is Batman. I dug out an old one I had for Jack. He was in 7th heaven trying to keep up with the boy cousins.
Saturday we went picnicing and frolfing at Lava. Why do little kids love throwing rocks in the water so much?
We took the kids to Larry and Kristen's to see their new baby chicks. Another thing kids love ... baby animals.

We went to a nearby sod farm so Val could show Faren the fine art of flying his new 35' long kite.

It's really made for kite-boarding...across the snow or the water. Val can't wait to try it on the lake. Looks pretty scary to me.

All of that sure looks fun, even if it does look a little cold. (fair weather fan of course)
You guys still win for "best grandparents"!!

Looks like you and Roy had the "fun schedule" down pat. Everything little boys love. Will it ever get warm and stay ??????
